Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-05

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PiP Expert browser extension and of this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Guangzhou Jianyun Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). By installing the extension, using the free plan, or purchasing a licence, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Licence

On payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the extension for as long as your plan is active. Single-video picture-in-picture is available without a licence and free of charge. A paid licence unlocks multi-video mode, up to the number of devices shown on the pricing page for your plan.

2. Devices

Each licence may be activated on a limited number of devices, depending on your plan. When the limit is exceeded, the device you added first is removed automatically to make room for the new one. You can review and remove devices yourself on the Manage devices page after verifying your email address.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the extension, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • redistribute, resell, rent or publish your licence key, or share it with anyone outside your own devices;
  • attempt to bypass the device limit, the licence verification or any other technical protection measure; or
  • use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others, breaks the law, or interferes with the Service or with third-party sites.

4. Plans, renewal and cancellation

Monthly and yearly plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your billing provider or by writing to us; your licence stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We will give you reasonable advance notice, using the email address on your order, before any price change takes effect on your subscription.

5. Refunds

Refunds and cancellation are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Issuing a refund revokes the corresponding licence.

6. Revocation and termination

We may suspend or revoke a licence that was obtained fraudulently or through a chargeback, that is being resold or shared, or that is being used in breach of these Terms or in a way that harms other users or third-party services. Where a purchase is refunded or a payment is reversed, the licence is revoked automatically. If we revoke a licence for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

7. Third-party content and site rules

The extension displays video hosted and streamed by third parties. We do not host, control or endorse that content, and your use of it is governed by the terms of the sites that provide it. The extension works with the video a site is already playing, using Chrome's own picture-in-picture window; it does not rewrite the page or change how a site behaves. You remain responsible for complying with each site's terms of use and with the law where you live.

8. Intellectual property

The extension, this website, and all related software, text, graphics and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a licence to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, add or discontinue features. We may also need to update the extension to keep pace with changes to Chrome or to third-party sites. Where a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will offer a pro-rated refund or an extension of your access period.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be compatible with any particular site or browser version, that third-party content will remain available, or that the Service will meet your requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of data, profits or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this section deprives you, as a consumer, of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you reside.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, if the change is material, notify you by email or in the extension before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
